Vintage Motor Scooter Club Extravaganza 2017

This weekend we’ll be at the Sports Connection Centre in Ryton-on-Dunsmore near Coventry for the annual Vintage Motor Scooter Club Extravaganza.

As a long time supporter of the show, we’ve been attending on a regular basis for a number of years, and it’s a great chance for us to showcase the full range of Continental scooter tyres to a large group of scootering enthusiasts.

Formed in 1985, the VMSC’s primary aim has always been to cater for scooter owners not covered by the existing one make clubs.

The club is dedicated to the salvation, preservation and restoration of all motor scooters, and they continue to offer a service of expert advice and support to anyone with an interest in these machines to this day.

It’s annual Extravaganza is always well attended, with enthusiasts from all across the country coming to check out some of the great machines on show, while also often entering their own scooter into one of the many classes on the day in the hope of winning a prize.

Last year’s coveted ‘Continental Cup’ was won by Duncan Kilbride (pictured), who entered his immaculate Lambretta complete with a set of ContiTwist tyres.
