This weekend we will once again be exhibiting at the Vintage Motor Scooter Club Extravaganza in the West Midlands.
Formed in 1985, the VMSC is dedicated to the salvation, preservation and restoration of motor scooters and has a membership base which spans across many countries, with the ability to obtain information on some of the most obscure machines.
We have sponsored this annual event for several years, and in that time we have seen some fantastic scooters on show with the aim of winning one of the coveted show titles for Best Vintage or Best Custom.
There are cash prizes available on the day across the 11 vintage, 11 custom and 11 general classes, and there will be an array of superb scooters on display. There’s also an auto-jumble where eagle eyed bargain hunters can pick up all kinds of parts and accessories!
Riders and enthusiasts alike will be congregating at the Sports Connexion Centre at Ryton on Dunsmore near Coventry from 10am on Sunday 3rd April.
Entry on the day costs just £4, and information on how to obtain entry forms can still be found via the official VMSC website if you’d like to display your scooter and be in with the chance of winning a prize!
With a range of scooter and moped tyres, including white walls and classic patterns, Continental certainly have something for everyone no matter what you ride. This year we’ll be putting some of those products to the test here in the UK by backing a new BSSO Lambretta Production Class and entering Graham in the Nifty Fifty Endurance in May.
If you’d like to find 0ut more about any of the tyres in our scooter range, then you’ll find our UK Brand Manager Graham Matcham at the show – just look out for the Continental tent!
