Rhys Lawrey motorcycle world record holder

Last time we caught up with Rhys, he’d been heading down through South America’s famous Patagonia region and the world’s most southerly city, Ushuaia in Argentina.

In the next two episodes of his online mini-series which charts his double World Record breaking trip around the globe on 2-wheels, Rhys heads for Africa and the second to last continent on his journey.

From here on in things get difficult, as Rhys attempts to smash to record for Most Consecutive  Number of Capital Cities Visited By Motorcycle, aiming for the grand total of fifty.

With several strict rules and regulations to comply with, this means some pretty long stints in the saddle on the affectionately named ‘Tigger’, his Triumph Tiger 800XC which was shod with ContiTrailAttack 2 or TKC 80 tyres depending on the terrain at various points during the trip.
