Richie Harrison RAP Racing Yamaha 2017

Spectators at last month’s final round of the Thundersport season were treated to some hugely exciting race action at Donington, with a number of titles going right down to the wire including three Golden Era championships.

The closest fought of those was most definitely the Golden Era Supersport championship, where the winner was decided in the final corner of the final race.

Continental rider Richie Harrison was going head-to-head with Luke MacRae despite breaking his hand during a crash in race one, looking to secure the championship for RAP Racing Yamaha and team boss Alan Edwards.

You can check out how he got on below:

This season Richie has been using the ContiRaceAttack Comp – our treaded race tyre designed for Supersport and Superstock use, taking seven wins and eleven podium finishes in the ultra-competitive Golden Era Supersport class.
