The Street Triple RX is the highest spec variant in the popular Street Triple R range from Triumph, and the very lucky Alison Silcox at Motorcycle News has one on long term test for 2015.
The aggressive styling makes this bike very eye-catching, and the signature 12-valve triple engine, derived from the excellent Daytona 675R delivers and punchy, linear ride.
On a dry, autumn Sunday Alison decided to take a ride out to RAF Bruntingthorpe to watch the famous Vulcan bomber XH558 make one of her final flights, treated to a low fly past as hundreds on onlookers got caught up in the excitement of the rare spectacle taking place in the sky.
In need of new tyres, Alison had recently fitted a set of our ContiRoadAttack 2 EVO sport touring tyres, which boast superb grip whatever the weather, thanks to our unique Rain Grip compound.
In their 21st October 2015 issue, Alison says:
“I’d recently changed tyres to the ContiRoadAttack 2 EVOs and the bike’s been transformed. They’re much less sports focused and really suit my style of riding, My route was to take me away from the flat fens and through the rolling Leicestershire countryside. I found the bike a real joy and much easier to ride, I was beaming for most of the journey.”
