Everyone at Continental Motorcycle UK would like to say congratulations to Rhys Hardisty of RH Racing, who was awarded the Daniel Humphries Memorial Trophy for the Best Overall Newcomer at the 2015 Around A Pound Tandragee 100 last weekend.
Rhys, who is supported by R.E.P.S Motorcycles of Caldicot, was competing on board his Kawasaki ER6 fitted with the ContiRaceAttack Comp treaded race tyres in the Supertwins class and the Junior support race.
Rhys was victorious in the junior race, which took place in difficult damp conditions, and then took a superb 3rd place in the first Supertwins outing.
Running since 1958, the Tandragee 100 was recently voted as the 4th best road race anywhere in the world, and it attracts a high quality field from across the road racing scene, with William Dunlop and Ryan Farqhar also claiming wins this year.
This comes after he made his debut at Oliver’s Mount last month, quickly adapting the the famous circuit, and later on this year he will be returning to the Isle of Man for his second year in the Manx GP. He is set to compete in the Supertwins on the famous mountain course, as well as the Junior and Senior races on a Yamaha R6.
For all the latest from Rhys and team, as they prepare for the North West 200, Classic TT, Barry Sheene Festival, Aberdare Park, Gold Cup and more, you can follow them on Facebook here.
Best of luck to Rhys and team for the rest of this year!
