For most club riders four races per meeting is plenty, but for Cardiff based Tony Griffiths it seems that 12 in a single weekend is no problem at all!
Griffiths was racing at the Three Sisters Circuit with the Preston & District Club last weekend, and had entered into the F400, Forgotten Era and Up to 500cc classes on his Kawasaki ZXR400, using ContiRaceAttack Comp tyres.
Over the course of the weekend, Tony broke lap records on four separate occasions and took an impressive 12 race wins, also being named the rider of the day on Sunday.
Tony was also joined on the F400 podium by Myerscough College rider Richie Harrison, who pushed him all the way to the line in each of the four races in that class to make it a Continental 1-2 on the podium as the pair continue to fight it out for that particular championship.
There was also another added bonus for Tony, when it was then announced that he’d been drawn as the winner in the marshal’s raffle at the end of the race weekend.
