After proving hugely popular in 2015, Nick Sanders Incredible USA trip is back again next year!
Led by Nick on his Continental shod Yamaha Super Tenere, and supported by his team, this will be the 5th time this trip has been run, giving riders a once in a lifetime chance to experience to very best sighs and sounds that the United States of America has to offer.
Setting off from Newark, riders will head west through Pennsylvania for Niagara Falls, before traversing the back roads of Indiana, Illinois and prairie country. Also included is a visit to the Black Hills town of Sturgis, home of the famous motorcycle rally. Passing Mount Rushmore, the group will then follow the Mississippi river, heading for the USA’s number one riding experience – Beartooth Pass, and then Yellowstone and it’s volcanic geysers including Old Faithful.
After a stop at Yellowstone, the riders cross the Grand Teton Range en-route to Wyoming and Salt Lake City before driving onto the famous Bonneville Salt Flats and the route officially known as ‘The Loneliest Road In America’ as San Francisco and the gigantic Golden Gate Bridge, marking the half way point, come into view. Then they take in the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway before working their way through Utah, Nevada, the infamous Death Valley end eventually Las Vegas.
There is so much to pack into just 22 days, but we haven’t finished yet! Leaving Las Vegas they will cross the famous Hoover Dam, and take in the spectacular views of the Grand Canyon before heading into the Rocky Mountains and crossing Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Kentucky, before riding the length of the Appalachian Mountains to arrive back in Newark.
