Continental Tyres are delighted to announce our support of the Mupo Ducati Challenge for the 2018 season.
The brand child of Mupo Suspension importer and TriOptions Cup regular Dave Croft, the series will run with the Auto 66 club this year and aims to offer “the draw of a BSB support series with the track time of a club race” according to UK Clubsport.
In it’s inaugural year, the series will take place over four rounds – one at Croft, and a further three at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire. A test day will also be held in mid-March.
A wide range of Ducati models are eligible, from the Supersport 748 to the 1199 Panigale which should make for some very interesting racing.
At the end of each meeting, we will announce our ‘Continental Rider of the Meeting’ – a competition open to all riders using Continental race tyres in Mupo Ducati Challenge.
Riders will need to share their race report or results with us via our Facebook page after each meeting, and we’ll pick a winner who in turn will receive a free race tyre of their choice to use at the next round:
Race wins are not the only factor we take into account when selecting a winner, and a similar scheme has already proved hugely popular in Thundersport GB after launching in 2017.
Previous winners have been selected after showing real grit and determination, or when they have overcome adversity – so every Continental shod rider has a great chance of winning no matter where the finish the race.
Continental race tyres are available from your nearest dealer.
