At Continental Motorcycle Tyres in the UK we are proud to be working closely with Scotland’s premier off-road motorcycle experience company Moto Scotland who use the TKC 80 Twinduro tyre on a number of their fleet bikes. The business, which recently won the Scottish Edge Award which provides funding for innovative start-ups, has recently been appointed the principal dealer for AJP Motorbikes in the West of Scotland and to celebrate they are hosting a charity event in the grounds of Inveraray Castle to raise money for Kirsty’s Kids.
Kirsty’s Kids is a no overheads Scottish charity which helps to improve the lives of children who are suffering from serious life limiting illnesses, including children with special needs along with their brothers and sisters.
The event takes place on 2nd and 3rd of August 2014 from 10am to 4pm, and there will be signs to direct you to the event park.
For a donation towards this fantastic cause, AJP and Moto Scotland will be providing a great range of bikes which you can take on a basic on and off-road taster session on a loop of the stunning, private Argyll Estate. Demand is expected to be high so you should arrive early to avoid disappointment. You will need both parts (where applicable) of your driving licence along with your helmet and any other suitable protective clothing in order to take part.
Moto Scotland also expect to see a number of stalls selling motorcycle goods, and if you need a break the Inveraray Castle cafe is a short walk away as is the town centre. You also have a fantastic opportunity to win a helicopter ride (subject to weather conditions) over the spectacular scenery of Loch Fyne with one auction being held on Saturday and one on Sunday with all proceeds going to Kirsty’s Kids.
Why not take the weekend to acquaint yourselves with the fantastic roads around the Scottish highlands, and give off-roading a try too all for a good cause?
More information and updates can be found via the Moto Scotland website.
