Ukranian rider Anna Grechishkina is the Head of the Social Sector of the National Association of Motorcycles of the Ukraine, and on 27th July 2013 she set off from her home city of Kiev on a two year round the world trip which she called “I Have A Dream”.
Anna states that the aim of her “I Have A Dream” mission is to encourage people to follow their own dreams in life, and she hopes to complete the trip by the summer of 2015 when she finally rides back in to Kiev after passing through more than 50 countries around the globe. She is currently riding in Australia on her way to Melbourne from Perth.
After setting off on her KTM 1190 Adventure fitted with ContiTrailAttack 2 adventure sport tyres, Anna has already crossed some of the most challenging terrain imaginable including countries such as Syria, Lebanon and India. She was also the first female rider in the Ukraine to make it into the “Saddle Sore 1000″ covering around 1900km on a motorcycle in 24 hours.
Anna says she has been “very satisfied” with the performance of the ContiTrailAttack 2 so far, and when she needed to change her tyres in Bangkok the only choice was a like for like replacement because she had “covered 30 thousand km on the first pair”.
At the end of the trip in Kiev, Anna will be installing two pieces of artwork based on the photos and artwork collected on her travels, as she snaps pictures of people from all over the world and asks them to interpret their dreams in the form of paintings and drawings.
