Last weekend, the CMR Racing team headed down to Donington for some 750 Pre-Injection racing action with the No Limits Racing series.
Both of the CMR built Kawasaki ZX7R’s were in action, with father & son duo Neil and Craig both running on ContiRaceAttack Slicks.
The Saturday qualifying session saw dry but overcast weather, and Craig took pole position, with father Neil starting in second place.
Race One saw Craig leading the class as he battled with the more powerful Pre-Injection 1000 and open class modern 1000cc bikes, a pattern that was to be repeated throughout the weekend.
Over the course of four races, Craig took four fastest laps and four class wins, with father Neil coming 2nd in three of the races.
Shortly after the final race, Craig commented:
“I couldn’t be happier with the weekends results, the team came here as a test for another round later in the year, however i have to commend No Limits on the organisation of the event, Its been a great club to take mine & the teams first ever wins, more importantly we have taken a real step forward with the setup of both bikes on the ContiRaceAttack Slick tyres, especially in colder temperature performance, they really do keep on surprising with the amount of grip available”
Congratulations to Craig and team on the great results!
