The Easy Riders are back!
Coming to a TV screen near you, Danny John-Jules and Steve Keys are off on their famous pink bikes once again for a trip from London to Brighton with a difference – they’re doing it the wrong way round!
Setting off from London, Steve and Danny head north for Scotland as they explore the UK, meeting some fantastic people with some fantastic tales to tell on the way, covering more than 1,000 miles on the road – all in support of the Children’s Air Ambulance charity.
On the way they also bump into football legend Ian Wright, Quadrophenia actor Phil Daniels and Macau GP winner Peter Hickman.
Narrated by Red Dwarf’s Chris Barrie, the trio’s mission is to raise awareness of the Children’s Air Ambulance, a charity that flies critically ill children across the UK to ensure they receive the specialist care they need. They know that the longer a sick child is out of hospital, the greater the risk. Their helicopter not only reduces the waiting time for treatment, but also serves as a flying intensive care unit. They deliver children to safety four times faster than transport by road, and when every second counts this can be a matter of life and death.
The show will be airing on Community Channel, with catch-up services also available if you miss an episode of the six part series:
