Competing in Round 1 of the E.M.R.A Club Championship at Mallory Park on Sunday, Dilligaf Racing rider Steve Moody impressed as he pushed his 600cc Honda to the limits in order to make it two wins from two during the first weekend of the series. A great start to his season!
Steve was racing for the first time on the ContiRaceAttack Comp. street legal race tyres, using the combination of a soft front and medium rear. Race one saw him open up a real gap on the rest of the field, finishing a comfortable 3.296 seconds ahead of second place, and his second race also saw him take a convincing win finishing 2.462 seconds in front of his nearest rival.
Following the race Steve commented on the performance of the ContiRaceAttack Comp. saying that the “tyres really held the track well and performed excellently!”
The team then went on to say:
“Those tyres were stonking! A track day, qualifying and two races and still looking good! We will be putting how good the tyres were on Facebook etc as they were genuinely very good! Steve is very impressed!”
Steve and team are also due to be competing in the 2014 Manx GP, and after making such a strong start to his first race weekend of the season the signs are looking very positive for all involved at Dilligaf.
