ContiSportAttack 3 review

After topping the recent hypersport tyre test in Fast Bike magazine, the all-new ContiSportAttack 3 continued it’s strong performance with great results in another industry leading test.

The team at Motorrad Magazine are some of the best in the business, and their experts have recently pitted six leading hypersport tyres against one another in a blind test at Mireval in France, scoring performance characteristics in a wide variety of conditions on both road and track.

The new ContiSportAttack 3 finished 2nd overall, missing out on the win by just two points, but it was the winner of the ‘Highway/Day-To-Day’ category  – putting in a very impressive performance on the roads to score 92 out of a possible 100 points. So if you’re sticking to the roads – we’ve got the best tyre of the bunch!

Our engineers were tasked with significantly improving the wet-weather grip of the new tyre when compared with it’s predecessor, and this test provided important feedback by bench-marking it against it’s competitors with Motorrad commenting:

“A major step forward. With its impressive grip reserves, the SportAttack 3 has distanced itself significantly from its predecessor.”

California Superbike School tyres

The magazine’s final assessment is testament to the real versatility of the new ContiSportAttack 3 as they said:

“Conclusion: Conti’s sports tyres have always been impressive on the highway. Now the SportAttack 3 has also made significant quality gains for wet conditions. Combined with solid racing results, it has earned 2nd place.”

The new ContiSportAttack 3 is the only tyre chosen for use by California Superbike School in the UK, with all of their highly qualified instructors using it on their Ducati machines.
