This weekend saw the annual award ceremony held by the British Motorcycle Racing Club, and it was a fantastic night for Continental riders Sam Coventry and Steve Jordan who both received awards for their performances in 2013.

Sam Coventry BSB Racer

Futuremoto Racing rider Sam had a magnificent season riding his stock BMW S1000, which was fitted with ContiRaceAttack Slick and Rain tyres, depending on individual race conditions. He finished 2nd overall in the Powerbike Series Championship behind title winner Peter Baker, but his overall successes which included the King of Brands and Champion of Snetterton were recognised with the presentation of the Solo Rider of the Year award and The Dunlop Cup.

Riding his Ducati, shod with ContiRaceAttack Comp tyres Steve Jordan was the overall winner of the Thunderbike Extreme class, and in honour of his win he received the Avon Cup, which since 1951 has been adorned with many famous names.

Congratulations to both riders and their teams, and we look forward to even more success in 2014!
