Last Sunday we were in attendance at the annual Bike 4 Life event at RAF Cosford, and it was great to see so many riders out enjoying themselves and supporting two fantastic charities in the process in the form of the Midlands Air Ambulance and the Royal Air Force Museum.
The event was reported to be a huge success with over 8000 visitors at RAF Cosford, and around 3,000 bikes taking part in the early morning ride out to the event from Meole Brace. Organisers have reported that £30,000 was raised for the two charities, something of which everyone who attended can be proud of!
Upon arrival at the museum festival goers were treated to an afternoon of entertainment which included a fantastic flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire and music from five live bands. Road safety and advanced riding organisations were also on hand to discuss biker safety, with some hands on demonstrations and exhibitions available for riders to try.
We had a great day at the festival, and wed like to thank everyone who came down to the Continental stand to meet some of the team! We also had some great feedback from riders across the various products in our range, which is always great to hear. We hope to be involved with this fantastic cause again next year, and to see even more of you come along and show your support too!
